The ecological project we designed

Before being a market project, the Muzzicycles project is about making ecology available to everyone. The more the bicycle is perfected, the more sustainable consumption can become.

Timeline

• 1976 Juan Muzzi founds Muzzicycles, a mould-making industry, the basis for dozens of innovations.
• 1998 Start of the Clean Development Project and research into polymer injection.
• 2008 Completion of the 7-tonne industrial mould for injecting the single-piece frame.
• 2009 Approval in rigorous strength tests and the INMETRO seal.
• NOW Global production with blends of PET, nylon and organic materials from photosynthesis.

Muzzicycles has already been sold in more than 50 countries, with partnerships around the globe. Several containers of Muzzicycles have already been shipped around the world.

Besides the engineering challenge of producing the largest solid plastic piece in the world, we had to ask the question: Why Muzzicycles?

• From the bone structure to the Clean Development Process. Drawing inspiration from hollow bones to create a unique design.
